XL-2361
XL-2361
WATER-BASED PAG DRY FILM CHAIN LUBRICANT WITH GRAPHITE FOR HIGH TEMPERATURES
XL-2361 is a high temperature chain lubricant formulated from a pure graphite base
suspended in a synthetic lubricant and water carrier that dries quickly to form
an adherent film on virtually all surfaces, including glass and flexible
materials.
XL-2361 remains stable at service temperatures of 316°C (600°F) and at intermittent temperatures
of 1200°C (2200°F).
XL-2361 is approved by the Canadian
Food inspection Agency (CFIA)
for use in food processing plants.
Advantages:
• Environmentally safe
• Non-flammable
• Non-corrosive
• Non-toxic
SURFACE
PREPARATION: Substrate
must be clean and dry. Etching or sandblasting will improve adhesion and
wear properties.
DILUTION: XL-2361 must
be diluted with soft, distilled, or demineralized water to bring the product
to the desired consistency prior to use, if necessary. This is achieved by
adding water to XL-2361,
and NOT vice-versa. Addition of water must be done while solution is being
thoroughly agitated.
APPLICATION: May
be applied by using spray, brush, or dip methods. For oven chains and
rollers, XL-2361 should
be sprayed onto warm surfaces at temperatures greater than 100°C/212°F and
spray pressures between 80-100 PSI so that the water component will
evaporate on contact, and provide optimum film formation.
